Setting Up Microsoft / Office 365 Account

  1. Navigate to https://login.microsoftonline.com
  2. Sign in using your new email address and temp password
  3. Change your password when prompted
    1. Password must be 10 characters long and contain characters from three of the following four categories:
      English uppercase characters (A through Z)
      English lowercase characters (a through z)
      Base 10 digits (0 through 9)
      Non-alphabetic characters (for example, !, $, #, %)
    2. Your password will reset every 90 days at which point you will be required to create a new password
  4. Create security questions so you can reset your password in the future in case it is forgotten
    1. If you forget your password you can navigate to https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com on any device and use your security question answers to reset your password
