1. Go to Google Contacts at https://contacts.google.com/
2. At the left under “Labels,” click Create label
3. Type a name, then click OK
4. Go to the Directory in Google Contacts
5. Check the boxes next to the contacts you want to add to a group label
6. Click the add to contacts button next to the email icon. (see image below)
7. Go to Contacts on the left sidebar
8. Select the students you wish to add
9. At the top, click Manage labels
10. Click the group label you want
11. Click Apply
